Short Courses and Skill Sets in Floristry
Flowers Design School offers a wide variety of inspirational short courses and skill-set programs for beginner to more advanced students targeting specific and specialised areas of floristry. The sessions are exciting, practical learning modules, during which the design process is discussed in detail, providing you with the confidence to create your own stunning floral designs under the professional guidance of your trainer. All classes are conducted in a positive and supportive environment so that you can relax and enjoy learning new skills in every session.
Should you wish to continue with a formal certificate enrolment upon completing any of the Flowers Design School short courses or skill-set programs, your achievements can be credited towards your certificate training program.
Whether you are a hobbyist or starting your full qualification, Basic one is the foundation module. You will learn a wide range of innovative and creative floral designs in a variety of containers, detailed wirework and an introduction to hand tied bouquets.
This short course is building on the skills learnt at Basic 1 and expanding your creativity to better understand the use of texture, line, form and material. You study a wide variety of creative designs from interior floral decorations, detailed textured designs and bouquets to abstract vase and post designs to name just a few. 
Many students have the dream to become a specialised wedding designer. This program allows students to gain a professional skill set, yet keeping focus on wedding design.
